What You’ll Learn
In this comprehensive Level 1 class, you will:
- Discover the origins and lineage of traditional Usui Reiki
- Learn the Reiki Principles and how they support daily life
- Build confidence with self-Reiki practice and hand placements
- Understand chakras as a practical framework for awareness
- Practice the Three Pillars of Reiki (Gassho, Reiji-ho, Chiryo)
- Receive your Reiki Level 1 attunement
- Experience hands-on practice in a supportive group setting
This training emphasizes self-healing first, helping you build a consistent practice that fits your life, whether for daily relaxation or deeper personal care. After completing Level 1, many graduates choose to offer Reiki informally to family and friends or continue on to higher Reiki levels.
Reiki Level 1
Class Format & Experience
Reiki Level 1 is taught in a relaxed, interactive format that balances teaching with experiential practice. You do not need any special belief system or spiritual background — Reiki is accessible to everyone, and the focus is on intention, presence, and compassionate practice.
During class, you will:
- Participate in guided self-Reiki sessions
- Practice hand placements in a safe, calm environment
- Explore how Reiki flows for the highest good of the recipient
- Practice with peers to deepen confidence and comfort
Students leave with the knowledge, experience, and tools to integrate Reiki into their daily self-care routines.
